Degree in architecture in 1959 from the National School of the University of Brazil (currently the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro), part of the team of teachers who founded the University of Brasilia in 1962, where he teaches initially architecture and urbanism and subsequently photo , becoming in 1992 the first professor of this subject in a Brazilian university
